Badlands Horse Camp
Badlands Horse Camp has access to over 22,000 acres of trails with scenic overlooks, waterfalls, and creeks, offering day rides for this beautiful area. You must bring your own horse. For camping, there are 15 electric hookups.

Grandmother Mountain Organics
Don’t expect quantity, but do expect organic, wholesome, local, yummy, and good enough to feed to the little ones! The farm is not certified organic, because it does not grow enough volume, but it does follow the letter and spirit of organic guidelines.
High Meadows Farm
Amazing you-pick blueberries in season; also cut flowers, native plants, gourds and Indian Corn in season. High Meadows Farm also sells online, on the South Cumberland Farmers' Market.

In Town Organics specializes in year round salad mixes, cool season crops and garlic without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. The farm features a number of heirloom crops.

South Cumberland Farmer's Mkt
Supporting local farmers and artisans has never been easier: Order conveniently online! Know what you’re purchasing, with great info about the farmers. Order pick-up is at the Sewanee Community Center each Tuesday between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m.
Carroll's has a variety of chickens laying beautifully colored eggs from blue and green to pink and brown, and the occasional grey, from a home flock of 12 free-range chickens that roam free alongside their mobile coop, which is moved weekly onto fresh grass.
Double A Farm
Offering family package plans and also individual cuts of beef in vacuum-sealed freezer bags. All beef is dry aged for superior taste and 1" thick cut steaks. Double A Farm has a Tennessee retail food permit and are inspected by the TN Dept of Agriculture.

The Grundy County Saddle Club is a non-profit, family oriented, volunteer organization of equine enthusiasts. GCSC is an organization desiring to promote a fun, family oriented environment for horse related events, activities, and opportunities in the equine industry.

Historic Stoker-Stampfli Farm & Museum
The Historic Stoker-Stampfli Farm tells the story of Swiss immigrants who came to the this area in the mid-1800s. The farmhouse, farm buildings and museum are all available to tour by appointment. All tours are free, but donations to maintain and restore the farm’s buildings are gratefully accepted.

Summer Fields grows grass on which they graze rare heritage breed sheep (who produce meat and wool) and goats (meat and milk) and chickens (eggs and meat). Our animals do not receive hormones or preventative antibiotics.

The Sisters of St. Mary Garden
The Sisters of St. Mary is an Episcopal Benedictine community located in Sewanee, featuring an organic garden with a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and lavender.
Cove Creek Farm
Featuring grass-fed, grass-finished cattle, free range laying hens, and pastured pork are raised on pasture, sunshine, and fresh air. Lean, grass-fed, grass-finished beef is high in omega-3 fatty acids and rich in vitamins and minerals.
Featuring free range hens and three Roosters to keep them in line. The hens provide all sizes of eggs, from small to jumbo. Eggs are ungraded and the hens do occasionally provide an egg or two with a double yolk.
Nestled in the woods atop Monteagle Mountain in Tennessee is a sweet little cabin store full of pottery and handmade gifts. Full Circle Candles and Hallelujah Pottery are a joint effort for our community.
Hoot Hill Farm
Hoot Hill is a small family farm that raises bees, concord grapes, muscadines grapes in the fall, blueberries, pears, and apples. In season, growing heirloom Moon & Stars watermelons and Sweet Potatoes, chemical-free.
Midway Mushrooms is a small indoor farm, producing several varieties of oyster, shiitake, and lion’s mane mushrooms, as well as a number of rotating specialty cultivars, grown from recycled agricultural byproducts. Midway is a Certified Produce Safety Alliance farm.

Sewanee Gardener's Market
Features both garden plants and locally-grown produce. The Market is open every Saturday, 8–10 a.m., in the summer, typically runs from late May until mid September.

The Flowerists are growing and selling seasonal local organic flowers, using no-till methods, including anemones, ranunculus, peonies, stock larkspur, snap dragons, zinnias, cosmos, dahlias, sunflowers, celosias and other varieties.
The Suter Farm
The Suter Farm has been in the Suter family since 1885, part of the original settlement of the Swiss Colony of Gruetli. It retains many of the original out-buildings and the farm house which was rebuilt in 1885.

The University Farm is designed to enhance Sewanee students’ understanding of the sustainability challenges that will affect their adult lives. Featuring a large organic garden, a flock of fifty laying hens, three beehives and a herd of seven meat goat does.
